Dr. Natasha Thomas, Cumberland Psychiatric Group, P.C.
Florida native, Dr. Natasha Jeneen Thomas, earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Spelman College and her medical degree from Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. As the Vice President of the Psychiatric Interest Group at her school, she began conducting depression assessments and offering patients counsel for ongoing outpatient care, lifestyle change, and hopes of mental wellness. The experience was so rewarding, she decided to pursue a career in Psychiatry, with hopes of incorporating a special niche for women’s issues. Dr. Thomas graduated in 2006 and began a Psychiatric Residency training at the University of Maryland , and the nationally-recognized psychiatric facility, Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital . In her senior year of residency, Natasha became a Chief Resident in Psychiatric Consultation, with a special focus on women’s health. Always a believer in the importance of women empowering women, Dr. Thomas has served as a psychiatrist with Cumberland Psychiatric Group for nearly 5 years, specializing in Women’s Reproductive Psychiatry.
